Architectural Services

Barry was the founding and senior partner of a successful architects practice with offices in East Anglia, London and Poole, specialising in commercial projects, retail, health care, education, residential and international hotels for clients such as Tesco, Waitrose, Nuffield Hospitals, British Airways, Holiday Inn, many national charities and more than 12 universities in the UK and mainland Europe.  He was also chairman of a project management company responsible for the complete management of building projects and contracting procedures.  Barry brings much experience from his responsibilities as a non-executive director, chairman and trustee of various organisations and charities.  His speciality in those roles is strategic planning and the non-executive lead for property, fundraising, and development.  The combination of all these skills makes Barry the ideal person to advise clients as a RIBA appointed Client Adviser on strategic planning, risk, brief-writing, appointment of the professional team and advising clients throughout the whole building procurement process.

What is the Role of a RIBA Client Advisor?

The role of a Client Advisor is to use their own extensive knowledge, gained in designing and delivering equivalent projects, and to help ensure the best quality result is achieved from the procurement process.
