About Upwey
Now a suburb of Weymouth to the north of the town centre, Upwey was once a separate village known as the source of the River Wey, which meanders through the area. Marking the source is Upwey Wishing Well, which has remained a much-loved feature and popular tourist attraction since the Victorian era.
