If you are arranging a mortgage for your new property, you will normally be required to provide a survey. This does not have to be a detailed survey, but will check for any major structural problems and also provide a valuation estimate for the mortgage lender.
Alternatively, for peace of mind, you may wish to obtain a Homebuyer's survey and valuation report or Building survey. This will provide a much more detailed inspection of the property you wish to buy, highlighting any current or potential problem areas.
The Domvs team will be happy to put you in touch with a reputable local surveyor, please see the Conveyancing section for further details.
