Once you accept an offer on your property, each party will receive the terms of the sale in writing. At this point, it is also worthwhile trying to agree an estimated completion date with the buyer.
You will need to ensure that details of fixtures and fittings included or excluded from the sale are specified in writing to the buyer as part of the memorandum of sale.
The transaction is not legally binding until contracts have been signed and exchanged by the vendor and buyer.
