A NEW study has revealed promising news for sellers as the gap between the asking price and actual sale price has narrowed significantly.
Between July and September, properties sold for just £4,000 less than the asking price, compared with £14,500 during the previous quarter.
The gap was down from nine to two per cent, driven by a new bullishness among buyers.
But flats appeared to perform best, netting an average of £19,000 above the asking price. Detached homes typically sold for £40,000 less.
