We were very proud to sponsor this joyous evening of art and music which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. The evening celebrated art with young and old and those with special needs. Held at Not Just Sundaes last night the evening featured work from artists from the Purbeck School, Swanage School and St Mark’s Primary School and those with special needs at the Purbeck Day Centre, who created some amazing brightly coloured flags with the DOMVS name on. The evening also featured young Purbeck musicians from the Wessex Youth Orchestra performing along with a small drama and singing group from the Purbeck Day Centre. We were also treated to a beautifully presented performance from the PAW festival singers who sang some haunting and truly inspiring African songs.
We were delighted to be able to present a cheque to the Purbeck Day Centre for £500 to add to the support and recognition of this important facility. A wonderfully caring place where local people with individual needs can both meet new people and take up new activities.
We had a wonderful evening and were pleased to be able to support this very colourful Purbeck Art Weeks event.
