There is a lot more to being an estate agent than many people realise - as Domvs negotiators, Charlotte Jones, Stuart Bramley and Christine Shadbolt have proved. The three have gained a prestigious Technical Award in the Sale of Residential Property - one of the highest accolades in the profession.
Stuart, Christine and Charlotte were required to study in four key areas; health and safety, law (general and property specific including stamp duty and tax), construction(covering property appraisals and valuations), and marketing.
What it means for Domvs clients is an even better level of service. The qualifications enable Stuart, who’s in our Dorchester office, Christine and Charlotte, who are based in Preston, to perform all aspects of sales negotiations to an even higher standard - from valuing and marketing your property, conducting viewings in a safe and informative manner to negotiating the most favourable offer and dealing with the conveyancing.
Christine has worked at Domvs in Preston for five years, having joined as a weekend member of staff. Christine says: ‘I live close to our Preston office, and enjoy being part of the community. I walk my two flat-coat retrievers over the Bowlease and love meeting local folk.’
Stuart has just moved with his three cats from Wareham to a house in Radipole with a garden he can’t maintain (any gardening tips anyone?). Stuart got a job with Domvs after his mother - who had just successfully sold her house through Domvs - suggested he apply!
Charlotte was born and bred in Weymouth, where she still lives. She has worked at Domvs for four years and is the baby of the Domvs family at the tender age of 28.
