The launch of Pennsylvania Heights on Portland concluded successfully at the weekend with three reservations – two from outside the area and one local buyer excited by the idea of becoming their own interior designer!
Still in the construction stage, the eco-friendly development’s show apartment enabled potential buyers to see for themselves the high specification.  A three storey house was also available to view which had not yet been completed internally.  Subject to construction schedules, buyers who reserve a plot are able to design the internal layout of the house themselves. One of the buyers who immediately reserved a house on the day asked for his kitchen – currently on the ground floor - to be moved to the first floor beside the reception room. With the stunning views from the first floor, he was delighted to find he could have the house just the way he wanted it!

Eddie Fitzsimmons, Managing Director of Lomand Homes, is offering a one-off consultation with an interior designer for potential buyers to discuss their ideas. Phase 2 was released at the weekend, so there’s no time to waste.

Pennsylvania Heights is a Passivhaus development – one of the first of its kind in the country and offers substantial energy savings. The majority of those who visited the show home said this was of particular interest to them. Others spoke of Portland’s natural rugged beauty and said the properties seemed to be such good value for money. Many loved the eco element of the house, combining low cost energy bills with a better quality of life within a community.
