Mayor of Dorchester opens development in the heart of Hardy country

Henchard’s was bathed in sunshine when the Mayor and Mayoress attended on Saturday to officially launch the exclusive new development on the outskirts of Dorchester.

The Mayor, Cllr Andy Canning, and the Mayoress, Mel Lane, both praised the eight detached homes and remarked upon the high quality finish. They commented on the attention to detail, particularly in the kitchens and bathrooms.
The Mayor and Mayoress also said the authentic brickwork added enormous character to the development.
They said they could see how Henchard’s would appeal to those wanting to combine living in a private community on the outskirts of town and yet having all the facilities close to hand.

A steady stream of visitors viewed the show home and yet another one of the four-bedroom houses was reserved - with considerable interest shown by investors in the few remaining properties.

With appointments made throughout this week, it shows that Henchard’s is appealing to newcomers and locals alike.
So don’t delay - if you would like to view a Henchard’s home, make an appointment today because they are going fast!
